Mary Pop-ins respects your privacy and takes care to protect the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it and your rights.

Depending on the support you request, we may collect:

• your name, address and contact details; 
• details of your enquiry, bookings and services provided; 
• task instructions, correspondence and meeting notes; 
• invoice and payment records, including bank-transfer references; 
• household, family, pet, appointment or emergency-contact information; 
• account references or documents required for a particular task; 
• photographs, identification documents or access information where necessary and agreed; 
• technical website information, such as IP addresses and cookies; and 
• health information where it is necessary for the particular support requested. 

We will only collect information that is relevant and necessary.

We use personal information to:

• respond to enquiries; 
• agree, organise and provide Mary Pop-ins services; 
• communicate with clients and authorised representatives; 
• manage appointments, tasks, invoices and payments; 
• maintain appropriate business records; 
• keep our clients, systems and business secure; 
• deal with complaints, incidents or legal claims; and 
• comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations. 

We generally rely on:

• contract, where information is needed to arrange or provide a service;

Health information receives additional protection. Where it is needed for a client’s requested task, we will normally ask for the individual’s explicit consent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time, although this may prevent us from continuing that part of the service.

Most information is provided directly by you.

It may also be provided by someone authorised to act for you, such as a family member, attorney, executor, emergency contact or professional adviser.

Where necessary, information may be shared with:

• service providers such as GoDaddy, Google Workspace and WhatsApp Business; 
• professionals, suppliers or organisations contacted on your instructions; 
• authorised family members or representatives; 
• insurers and professional or legal advisers; 
• healthcare providers where authorised; 
• emergency services or safeguarding organisations; and 
• HMRC, regulators or other organisations where disclosure is legally required. 

We do not sell personal information.

Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, appropriate legal safeguards are used, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual clauses.

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

• ask for a copy of your personal information; 
• correct inaccurate or incomplete information; 
• ask for information to be deleted or its use restricted; 
• object where we rely on legitimate interests;
